Description

Sherpa Journeys and the Lapis Buddha Foundation invite you to an evening of international music, dancing, auction & raffle.  Proceeds will provide healthcare and medicine to the people of Nepal, while helping to preserve their culture and endangered medicinal plants.

Presenting a fantastic lineup with the wonderfully talented Sheldon Sands of the Colorado Musicians Consortium with phenomenal Anthony Salvo and a local Nepali favorite: Limit-3 Band.

Our special guest speakers include:   Dr. Nashalla Nyinda, a local Tibetan doctor to talk about how Tibetan medicine works and why it is so effective. We also have a Tibetan descent doctor of Tibetan medicine to discuss the importance of preserving Tibetan culture by cultivating their medicinal practice in Nepal and in the Western countries. Also Trish Flaster, Phd in Ethno Botany to speak about the simple and critical method of teaching proper harvesting to Himalayan villagers for preservation of the endangered plants.
