Trekking: Involves wilderness hiking and up and down hills at your own pace. A guides or porters will stay behind with you if you are walking at a slower pace than the group which is perfectly acceptable. You may also walk ahead of group as long as you let the guide know you are walking ahead so everyone is accounted for.
Tour: Guided walk often involving cultural experiences and educational talks, usually by vehicle and walking some during the day and rests between walks.
Adventure: Involves exciting activities usually with fast movement and some skill needed as well as physical activity.
Peak Climbing: Beginner to Intermediate level mountain climbing. Some basic mountaineering skill is needed such as glissading and self arrest, some basic avalanche training, use of crampons, proper clothing and gear. However in our registration package, we provide a checklist of items to bring along. Physical fitness is necessary for this type of strenuous activity as well and some training at high altitudes.
Expeditions: These adventures are for expert level mountaineers with several years of experience and thorough knowledge of gear and equipment and procedures including avalanche training. Prior training of physical fitness and altitude is required for these adventures.
